Hyderabad, Nov.13 (NSS): In a significant judgment, Harisha, Special Judge for POCSO cases, LB Nagar, convicted Vadde Prakash, of Bakapur village, Pudoor Mandal, Vikarabad District, in Cr. No. 56/2016.
The case was registered at Chevella Police Station under Sections 366(A), 376(2)(N) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 5(L) read with 5 & 17 of the POCSO Act.
The court sentenced the accused to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹25,000. The conviction serves as a reminder of the Cyberabad Police’s commitment to ensuring justice for victims of sexual crimes.
