Jagtial, Nov.30 (RAHNUMA): A fire accident broke out in a couple of shops in Kondagattu of Jagtial district. A short circuit caused the fire in the shops last night. As a result, 30 small shops were engulfed in flames. As 30 shops were stuck together, it caused huge property damage. There was concern among the traders as the shops were stuck. In the incident, the toy shops were burnt to ashes. The traders, who depend on the shops for their livelihood were seen struggling after the tragic incident .
According to preliminary estimates, it seems that there was a property loss of more than one crore rupees. The Traders had bought and stored a large amount of toys in honor of the Sammakka Saralamma Jatara. The Shops selling puja equipment, water bottles and other items needed by devotees were completely damaged in the accident. Fortunately, there was no loss of life.
The Officials said that an investigation had been launched to find out the exact cause of the accident. The Officials announced that they would review the safety standards of electrical connections and shops to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
