
Hyderabad, Nov.30 (RAHNUMA): The ICAR–National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) is organising the 33rd Annual Conference of Agricultural Economics Research Association (AERA), India, from December 1 to 3 at ICAR-NAARM in Hyderabad.
This year’s conference holds special significance as ICAR-NAARM is celebrating its golden jubilee year, marking five decades of contributions to agricultural research, education and extension systems through capacity building, and policy advocacy for the National Agricultural Research and Education System (NARES).
The central theme of the conference is innovations in agribusiness, empowering women, and climate-resilient agriculture. discussions will focus on enabling policies for agricultural prosperity, agri-food systems for sustainable rural development, bridging gender gaps and advancing gender equity, climate-smart technologies and policies for sustainable and resilient growth in agriculture.
The three-day programme will feature panel discussions, keynote addresses, technical sessions, research paper presentations, symposia, and a student mentorship workshop. The conference will bring together leading agricultural economists, researchers, policy experts, and eminent academicians from across the country to deliberate on emerging issues in Indian agricultural economics and rural development.
