
Hyderabad, 27th May 2024 : Schools in Telangana are gearing up to reopen on June 12, 2024, after the summer vacation. The state government has announced that all schools, including government, private, and local body institutions, will resume academic activities on this date】.
Preparations for the reopening include thorough cleaning and sanitization of school premises, ensuring that classrooms are ready to accommodate students while maintaining physical distancing norms. Schools are also required to implement measures such as the use of masks, temperature checks, and provision of mid-day meals under strict hygiene conditions.
Additionally, specific programs and activities are set to commence with the reopening. For instance, the Badi Bata enrollment drive and school readiness programs for different grades will be initiated to ensure a smooth transition back to classroom learning.
The reopening also marks the continuation of educational reforms such as the implementation of English medium instruction in government schools from Class 1 to 8, aimed at enhancing the quality of education.
