Hyderabad, May 27 (NSS): Congress leaders, including Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday paid their tributes to India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on his death anniversary.
The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the portrait of the late prime minister at his residence in the city.
Revanth Reddy was accompanied by Advisor to the Chief Minister Vem Narender Reddy, AICC Secretary Sampath Kumar, MLA Srihari and MLC Patnam Mahender Reddy.
Meanwhile, MLC and NSUI State president Balmoor Venkat Narsig Rao paid floral tributes to Nehru’s portrait on the occasion of his death anniversary at the Gandhi Bhavan.
Similarly, in collaboration with the Intellectual Cell of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), a special programme was organised at Indira Bhavan Hall, Gandhi Bhavan where MLC and TPCC working president Mahesh Kumar Goud, former MP V Hanumantha Rao, MLA Veerlapalli Shankar, Intellectuals Cell Chairman Shyam Mohan and party leaders, including Niranjan and Kumar Rao paid floral tributes to the portrait of Nehru and recalled his services to the nation.
