Hyderabad, June 12 (INN): Former Minister Harish Rao and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao highlighted the transformative impact of regular school attendance on students’ lives.
Speaking at Siddipet Government Boys School during the distribution of books and uniforms, he emphasised the role of public representatives in supporting teachers for better educational outcomes.
Over the past five years, Siddipet district has consistently topped the state in class 10 results. Harish Rao attributed this success to the upgraded facilities in government schools, which are now comparable to those of corporate schools. He also promised to grant a dining room to the school hostel immediately.
Harish Rao urged the new government to continue the Mana Ooru Manabadi program to develop government schools further. He requested Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to provide sanitation staff and free electricity for all schools, as previously promised. Additionally, he called for the immediate filling of 25,000 teacher vacancies.
The BRS MLA assured his continued efforts to strengthen government schools in Siddipet district, aiming for lasting improvements in the education sector. (INN)
