Hyderabad, June 22 (INN): YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader YS Jagan has strongly criticised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his recent political actions, particularly the demolition of the nearly completed YSRCP central office in Tadepalli. Jagan described the demolition, carried out with bulldozers, as dictatorial and in blatant disregard of High Court orders.
Jagan expressed his anger over the incident, stating that law and order have completely disappeared in the state. He accused Chandrababu of sending a violent message about the nature of his regime for the next five years following the election-related violence. Jagan made it clear that the YSRCP would not succumb to threats and acts of harassment. He vowed to fight on behalf of the people and urged democrats across the country to condemn Chandrababu’s actions.
In a Tweet, Jagan said, “Chandrababu, who is shedding blood due to the violent incidents that are taking place after the elections, has given a violent message about how the regime is going to be for these five years through this incident. YSRCP is not bowing down to these threats and acts of harassment. We will fight hard on behalf of the people, for the people, and with the people. I request all the democrats of the country to condemn Chandrababu’s misdeeds.”
The under-construction YSRCP central office in Tadepalli was razed to the ground early on Saturday morning. The municipal authorities, implementing the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) orders before dawn, demolished the office within two hours amid heavy police deployment and closed gates. Despite the YSRCP approaching the court regarding the CRDA’s orders, the construction was demolished without prior notice. The office was located on the route from Chandrababu Naidu’s residence to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office. (INN)
