Hyderabad, June 26 (NSS): Lok Sabha membership of AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi should be suspended for his “Jai Palestine” chanting in Indian parliament while taking oath as MP, demanded N V Subhash, official spokesperson of Telangana State BJP.
“Asaduddin Owaisi, who was born and brought up on Indian soil should not raise name of a foreign country while taking oath as member of Indian parliament”, he said, adding that Owaisi should have expressed his support to Muslims of other country on any other forum. “Oath taking ceremony in parliament is a sacred event as elected MPs take oath expressing their promise to protect the constitution”, Subhash said, adding that chanting name of a foreign country is like raising slogan in favour of an enemy country.
He also said Owaisi is least bothered of welfare of his own community people in his own country. But he is concerned about Muslims of Palestine to get cheap popularity utilising form of parliament, a temple of Indian democracy, he said and demanded suspension of Lok Sabha membership of Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
