Mangalagiri, July 1 (NSS): State Minister Nara Lokesh today said the people, who saw the CM of veils, were now seeing Chief Minister of the people.
After the distribution of NTR Bharosa scheme pensions, the minister participated in a programme held at Penumaka in his Mangalagiri assembly constituency along with CM Chandrababu Naidu. On the occasion, there was a fun conversation between Lokesh and Chandrababu.
“I think it will take some more time for the officers to settle down in their roles in our government. The curtains are still seen in my constituency,” he said. Replying to this, Chandrababu said some officials had not stopped putting up the curtains. Lokesh made it clear to the officials that they had already instructed the officials to remove all the curtains in three State capitals. The CM warned the officials that they would be suspended if such undemocratic practices happened again.
Naidu made it clear to the officials that they would see the Chief Minister of 1995. “If you make a mistake, I will not spare anyone, ministers, MLAs and officials should keep this in mind,” Chandrababu warned. During the conversation between the CM and Minister Lokesh, there was a lot of laughter in the public meeting. (NSS)
