Hyderabad, July 6 (NSS): Another BRS MLA Krishnamohan Reddy has joined the Congress.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy formally welcomed the BRS MLA into the party at his residence here on Saturday.
Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, AICC Telangana in-charge Deepadas Munshi, Chief Minister’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, MP Mallu Ravi, MLAs Yennam Srinivas Reddy and Danam Nagender and other leaders were present.
Krishnamohan Reddy represents Gadwal Assembly constituency. However, the local
ZPTC Sarita, who had contested against the BRS MLA in the Assembly elections from Gadwal,has been opposing his entry into the Congress. Her supporters staged protests in Gadwal and Hyderabad against the BRS MLA.
TPCC working president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud has assured Sarita and her supporters that the issue will be taken up with the Chief Minister. Finally, he has succeed in convincing her. (NSS)
