BRS leaders have no moral rights to talk about defections : Sridhar Babu

Hyderabad, July 12 (NSS): A war of words is going on between the leaders of the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS party over the issue of defections.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Minister Sridhar Babu said the BRS leaders had no moral rights to talk about defections as the opposition party had initiated an unethical practice of defections in Telangana when it was in power.

“We have not invited anyone to join the Congress party. There is a big difference between Congress and BRS in the matter of party defections. In the past, the Congress MLAs were intimidated and joined the BRS. But, now the BRS MLAs are voluntarily joining the Congress party after seeing the performance of State government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy,”  Sridhar Babu said.

The Minister stated that many people are saying that only four MLAs will remain in the BRS party in the days to come and the BRS leaders should disclose the names of four MLAs who are remaining in the party. (NSS)
