Hyderabad, July 20 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder president Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, popularly called as NTR, had created a brand of leadership and gave opportunities to many people grow politically.
Addressing the Kamma Global Summit here on Saturday, the Chief Minister said that many people got political opportunities today because of the coalition politics introduced by NT Rama Rao in the country.
“I have studied in NTR’s library that made me to reach the high level,” Revanth Reddy said.
He also pointed out that absence of Telugu leaders role in national politics is clearly visible and the people irrespective of caste and religion should encourage the Telugu leaders who excel at the national level.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister appealed to the Kamma community to join hands as partners in promoting Hyderabad a global and cosmopolitan city and his government is ready to extend all the help.
“We respect every caste and creed. There is no discrimination against anyone in Telangana. My government will not pursue any discrimination policies,” he disclosed.
The Chief Minister further stated that the State government is committed to resolve the land dispute on the ownership of 5 acres of land allotted to Kamma Sangam and it is ready to provide funds for the construction of community building
