Hyderabad, July 21 (NSS): Delhi Assembly Chief Whip and Telangana State in-charge Dilip Pandey today alleged their political rival BJP government was suppressing the voices that question it on behalf of the people. He also alleged that the BJP was misusing the investigating agencies and putting AAP leaders in jails.
Addressing media persons here on Sunday, Pandey, along with AAP State convenor Dr Diddi Sudhakar, alleged that the BJP government had deliberately put Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in jail as he provided education and medical care free of cost to the Delhi people. “Recognising that the AAM Aadmi party is the right alternative to the BJP, it is looking to make our party nameless. There is a conspiracy to topple the AAP government in Delhi. No matter how many conspiracies the BJP has hatched, we will not be threatened,” he said.
He also said they would protect the country and the Constitution. “BJP has been hatching conspiracies to destroy our party. But the people of Delhi and Punjab are with us. We will move forward with the aim of strengthening the party in the districts of Telangana State. Aap-ruled States are no.1 in the country in terms of education and medicine. The people of the country will support AAP in the next parliamentary elections,” he said. He also said the AAP candidates would be in the fray in the coming days in any elections held in Telangana State. “If people’s issues are ignored, we will fight against the Congress too,” he said.
Aam Aadmi Party State convenor Dr Diddi Sudhakar said attempts were being made to kill CM Kejriwal. He said their party leader had lost 8 to 10 kg weight after he stopped taking medicines in Tihar jail. He said the BJP was behaving in vindictive manner as part of an attempt to topple their government in Delhi. The movement cannot be stopped by putting them in jail,” he said. In future, we will all organise ‘Jai Kejriwal’ programmes,” he said.
AAP Telangana State core committee members Dr Salman Raj, MA Majeed, women’s wing president Hema Jilloju, general secretary Narsing Yamuna Goud, youth wing president Vijay Mullangi and others were present.
