
Hyderabad, July 25 (NSS): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has informed that the State government is aimed at transforming 63 lakh women into successful business women in the days to come.
Presenting the State government’s full-scale budget for the financial year 2024-25 in the Assembly on Thursday, Bhatti Vikramarka said that the State government has designed Indira Mahila Shakthi programme with the collaboration of Sthree Nidhi and Banks and has planned to to secure Rupees one lakh crores for this scheme.
“We aim to impart skill training in different fields and also train them in branding and marketing. We propose to establish common processing centres for entrepreneurs and also establish a small scale industrial park in every Assembly constituency. Every year, the project aims to help 5,000 rural societies/regional societies and we will try to extend it to 25,000 societies,” Bhatti Vikramarka said.
He further stated that as part of Mahila Shakthi programme, the State government has introduced loan insurance scheme in March and said that If any member of the society dies, a maximum of Rs.2 lakh loan on her name would be waived-off.
“For this loan insurance programme, the government has already released Rs.50.41 crores to Sthree Nidhi, he added.
