Hyderabad, July 27 (NSS):Union Minister Bandi Sanjay today alleged that the Congress government had hatched a conspiracy to borrow thousands of crores of rupees at high interest rates through merchant bankers by giving commissions to brokers.
Speaking to media persons in Karimnagar, Bandi Sanjay said, “If the loan is brought at high interest rates, the people of the State will have to bear an unbearable burden,” he said. He also said the issue of loans should be discussed in the Assembly. He mocked that the State’s budget and the Congress’ six guarantees were nothing but an egg of a donkey. “Unable to implement the six guarantees, the Congress government is conspiring to destroy the Centre. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s decision to skip NITI Aayog meeting is cruel in nature ,” he said. Sanjay claimed that CM Revanth Reddy seemed to be following in the footsteps of former CM KCR. “The CM’s attitude is a big loss for Telangana. Making India number one and strengthening Centre-State relations are the main aims of the Niti ayog. The CM did not attend the meeting as he did not have a face to show,” he claimed.
He alleged that the Congress and BRS party leaders were opportunists. “Isn’t it true that the two parties met in the Assembly and passed a resolution against the BJP? If the opportunity arises, BRS party will be merged with the Congress party. The two parties are playing drama together on Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project,” he alleged. Stating that the State government sought funds from the Centre for the Musi river front project, he wondered as to why it did not allocate huge funds in the budget for the same project?
