
Hyderabad, July 28 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has asked the Hare Rama and Hare Krishna Foundation to conduct a study on the construction of centralised kitchens for providing breakfast and lunch to government school students across the Telangana State.
The Chief Minister on Sunday held a meeting with the representatives of Hare Rama and Hare Krishna Foundation here and discussed the establishment of semi-residential school on pilot project in Kodangal.
He stated that steps are being taken to provide breakfast and lunch to 28,000 government school students in Kodangal Assembly constituency, which represents Revanth Reddy, with the establishment of centralized kitchen.
The construction work of the centralised kitchen has already started in Kodangal town and the Kitchen will be maintained by Hare Rama-Hare Krishna Charitable Foundation with CSR Funds.
The Chief Minister will start a pilot project in Kodangal constituency soon after the completion of centralised kitchen.
During the meeting, Revanth Reddy said the objective of the State government was to provide quality education and nutritious food to the poor students and asked the representatives of Hare Rama and Hare Krishna Foundation to conduct a complete study on the implementation of breakfast and lunch facility across the Telangana State.
