Hyderabad, July 29 (NSS): When former chief minister and BRS MLA K Chandrashekar Rao is not coming to the Assembly, why should the Opposition leader status be given to the BRS leader, questioned Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy.
Participating in the debate in the Assembly on Monday, Rajagopal Reddy criticised KCR for not attending the Assembly session and said that KCR should tell the people why he is not able to come to the Assembly.
“Why KCR is not attending Assembly session. If he does not come to the Assembly, why should the opposition leader status be given to BRS,” Rajagopal Reddy questioned.
The Congress MLA alleged that the previous government had completely neglected the power sector and asked,
“If everything is done properly, why did the power companies go into losses?
“The State government is making efforts to bring the loss-making DISCOMS back to the path of profits. Moreover, a full-scale inquiry will be conducted on the power sector soon,” Rajagopal Reddy said.
