KTR asks govt to hold assembly session for 20 days in future

Hyderabad, July 30 (NSS)As the Legislative Assembly began at 10 am on Monday and continued till 3 am on Tuesday morning, BRS party working president and Sircilla MLA KT Rama Rao today made a key suggestion to Legislative Affairs Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu. KTR made the suggestion with the permission of the assembly Speaker as soon as the House met at 10 am on Tuesday.

“The House was adjourned till 3 a.m. on Tuesday morning with the intention of discussing and approving 19 heads on the same day. We accept the proposal of the Minister of Legislative Affairs not to make lengthy speeches. But there are 57 new members in this House. They all want to talk. Without discussing 19 heads a day, we want discussions on two or three heads a day. Tomorrow, the budget appropriation Bill is being introduced. The assembly meetings are over. But in the coming assembly and budget sessions, steps should be taken to ensure that two or three heads are discussed in a smooth manner instead of 19 heads per day,” he said.

He said the next session should be held at least for 20 days if required. KTR made it clear that he would do co-operation from his party’s side without fail.
