Hyderabad, Aug.14 (NSS): Minister for Panchayat Raj Seethakka has come down heavily on those people who are spreading malicious propaganda against the facility of free bus service for women on the social media.
Addressing the11th General Body Meeting of Srinidhi Credit Cooperative Federation Limited at Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University Auditorium, Rajendranagar, here on Wednesday, Seethakka expressed anger at those people who were spreading bad propaganda against the free bus facility and were showing the women in a derogatory way.
She questioned why the opposition parties were angry with women and why they weren’t able to digest when the best facility was being provided to the women in Telangana.
“Sri Nidhi means women’s financial security. Women’s organisations should work actively. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s idea is that economic progress of women is necessary for the society to be happy, that is why he is moving ahead with the goal of making crores of women millionaires,”
The Minister also reminded that women’s associations have been given the responsibility of setting up stalls for marketing in Shilparamam, Amma Adarsh schools and school uniforms to sell the products made by Sri Nidhi members.
She alleged the previous BRS government’s policies against women and said that all the development was limited to only one area in the past.
