
Hyderabad, Aug.20 (NSS): The posters of the “Everyday Environmental Pledge” programme prepared by the National Executive of the World Environment Organization were released by former Chairman of Telangana JAC and MLC Prof. Kodandaram and social Telangana JAC leader Prof. P.L. Visweswara Rao, Leader of the Rights Commission Prof. Haragopal, Dornakal MLA Government and Whip Dr D. Ramachandra Nayak today.
Speaking on the occasion, Kodandaram said that the protection of environment was a divine program . He said that it was a matter of pride for all that the World Environment Organization was working in the spirit of the Telangana movement. “In the future, the World Environment Organization will do it for the protection of the world for the protection of the environment and for the protection of the species for human survival. It is a matter of pride for all of us to take up this great initiative. Our Revenue Employees Deputy Collectors Association Affiliated Associations and the state Government gives first priority to environmental protection for the protection of the environment. Everyone must be a part of the environmental protection movement and we will do our bit for that,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, government whip Ramachandra Naik said the Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was working hard to keep pollution at bay by holding environmental friendly program Vanamahotsavam. He said the State government would support all the initiatives of the World Environment Organization. The pledge was unveiled in the presence of Telangana Employees’ Union leaders and leaders of people’s unions, Telangana Deputy Collectors’ Association president Lachhi Reddy, general secretary Ramakrishna Nayak and Telangana Association president Ramulu.
