Congress will continue its protest for JPC probe: Bhatti

Hyderabad, Aug.22 (NSS): Congress party workers and leaders will continue their nationwide protests until the wealth looted by Adani is restored and a Joint Parliamentary Committee is constituted to probe into Hindenburg Research’s latest allegations into what the party called “big Adani scam”, said Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka.

Addressing the protest meeting in front of Enforcement Directorate office here on Thursday under the aegis of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), Bhatti said the nationwide protest programme organised by Congress Party in front of ED offices was for a noble cause – for the country and to protect public wealth.

He thanked the party leaders and rank and file for turning out in huge numbers in response to the call given by All India Congress Committee.

“Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been waging a fight and raising his voice for the last few years to protect the nation’s wealth. He is saying that the nation’s wealth should belong to people and not to few individuals,” Bhatti recalled.

He further alleged that Hindenburg Research had exposed the loot in detail which stunned the world and It was even more shocking that SEBI Chairperson who should have protected the nation’s wealth was hand in glove with this loot of nation’s wealth.

“Rahul Gandhi has been raising his voice for a long time against crony capitalists  and Prime Minister Modi remained indifferent to the demand of Rahul Gandhi to constitute a Joint Parliamentary Committee with representatives of all political parties. The AICC was compelled to give a call for nationside dharnas in front of ED offices today in the wake of PM’s apathy, the Deputy Chief Minister said.
