Hyderabad, Aug.24 (NSS): The Co-ordinator of ISKCON’s Women’s wing of Kukatpally Srivani has said Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations would be held on August 26 in Kukatpally. She unveiled pamphlets related to the program at city based NSS in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, she said many cultural programs and Swami kirtans would be held with devotional ecstasy. “As part of this, from Friday to August 26, competitions on singing, dancing, colouring, drawing, essay writing, quiz, and hymn recitation will be organized to bring out the hidden talents of the six to 18-year-old children,” she said. She also said a fancy dress competition would be held on August 28 and on August 27. The founder of ISKCON Acharya A.C. Bhakti Vedanta Swamy would celebrate his birthday. Representatives of the organization Lalithakabra, Anjanadevi and Sunilrathi participated in the meeting.
