
Hyderabad, Aug.24 (NSS): Telangana Congress Women’s President Sunitha Rao has condemned the biased manner of the police towards Congress women activists.
Protesting against the police barricading the Women’s Commission office on Saturday, Sunitha Rao demanded that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy take stringent action against those police personal who have insulted the party women activists.
“The police have pulled my hair and I have been beaten. The State government should conduct an investigation on the act of police and action should be taken against those police personal,” she said.
Sunitha Rao also found fault with BRS leader Rama Rao for making derogatory remarks against women, saying that he should tender apology for the Telangana women.
She accused KTR of instigating violence against women and said that his arrogance had not decreased even though the BRS party was out of power in Telangana.
