Hyderabad, Aug.25 (NSS): The issue of Hydra demolition has become a hot topic in Telangana. Opposition leaders are protesting against the unilateral demolition of the illegal structures by the government authorities. AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi made sensational comments on the issue. He asked the State government as to what it would do to the government buildings built in the FTL zone of Hussain Sagar lake?, he asked.
Reacting sharply to the demolition of the illegal structures by Hydra in Hyderabad city, Asaduddin asked the government whether Necklace road, which was built within the FTL zone also would be removed. He alleged that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation office was also built in a water pond. “Will the GHMC office also be demolished,” Asaduddin asked. Asad’s comments became a topic of discussion in Telangana now.
On the other hand, CM Revanth had made important comments on the ongoing demolition of the illegal structures. He said that It was the responsibility of everyone to protect Hyderabad. He said they had decided to demolish the encroached structures in the ponds under any pressure. “Similarly, we will also demolish the structures of those who are especially partners in the government. Everyone has seen what happened in Chennai, Uttarakhand and Wayanad. The demolition of illegal structures in ponds has been undertaken for future generations,” the CM made it clear .
