
Hyderabad, Aug.26 (NSS): On a tip-off, City police conducted a joint operation along with Bowenpally police and arrested a drug peddler along with his two associates and seized 8.5 kg amphetamine drug, one Mahendra Xylo vehicle and three mobile phones, all worth Rs 8.5 crore.
The drug peddler was udentified as Kunchala Nagaraju alias Nagraj, native of Bitragunta, Prakasham District of Andhra Pradesh and residing at Gummadidala, Sangareddy District. His associates were identified as Ashagouni Vinod Kumar Goud alias Vinod of Gummadidala, Sanga Reddy District and Kunti Srishailam alias Srishailam of Dundigal, Medchal district.
The drug manufacturer was identified as Gosukonda Anji Reddy of Gummadidala, residing at Bowrampet, Dundigal. He was in judicial custody in Cr.No.118/2024, U/Sec.8(c), r/w 21 (c), 22(c), 27(A), 25, 29 NDPS Act of Gummadidala PS. He was born at Shapurnagar, Qutbullahpur mandal and brought up in Bonthapally. On Sunday evening, the Bowenpally police apprehended the accused and seized from them Amphetamine drug.
