RIYADH, 27 August: Saudi aid agency KSrelief is assisting relief efforts after heavy rain caused the Arbaat Dam, north of Port Sudan, to collapse on Saturday, resulting in widespread flooding that killed at least 132 people destroyed entire villages.
Working in coordination with government agencies in the Kingdom and the Saudi embassy in Sudan, KSrelief and its partners are providing emergency shelters and food aid for about 6,000 people, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
