Any art form is powerful: Dr Neelima Kota

Hyderabad, Sept.1 (NSS)TPCC general secretary and AICC member Dr Neelima Kota on Sunday said that the arts form were very powerful and added that the arts had played a great role in the biggest revolutions in the world.  “Whether it is the political, social, economic or cultural sector, art has the power to change the world,” she said. She inaugurated the Pause and Reflect Art Show organised by Art Magnum at the Madhapur State Art Gallery.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that Art was her soul and added that she had done a lot of things in her life. But, it is only through art that I have found happiness and contentment,” she said

Artist, actor and art teacher Geetha Bhaskar today said that the art was very relatable to her and added that there was a need to bring the arts closer to the children. She said that she believed that the arts had the power to ignite creativity in young minds in today’s mechanical world.

“The pause and reflected art show sheds light on the importance of ordinary moments in life. The exhibition features artifacts of four artists showcasing different perspectives across different mediums.  It is being screened in Hyderabad for the first time. Art lovers should take advantage of this rich opportunity,” She said.

Artists Dhruv Patel, Raghu, Mukhtar Ahmed and a large number of art lovers participated in the opening ceremony of the art exhibition.
