Hyderabad, Sept.21 (NSS): Responding to the proposal of simultaneous elections, approved by the Union Cabinet, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) is hatching a conspiracy to show the hegemony in the country in the guise of One Nation One Election.

Addressing a memorial meeting of CPM national leader Sitaram Yechuri, who has passed away recently, at Ravindra Bharathi here on Saturday, Revanth Reddy said the passing away of Sitaram Yechury was an irreparable loss for the Left party.
“Sitaram ignited the spirit of democracy in the national politics and also stood by the poor by raising their voice on all political platforms in the country. The departed CPM leader also spread the glory of India on all democratic platforms in the world,” he asserted.
Stating that Sitaram Yechury and departed Congress leader S Jaipal Reddy are highly respected national leaders, the Chief Minister said that he used to remember the CPM national leader whenever met Jaipal Reddy and two leaders were contemporary in the national politics.
“Sitaram Yechury adhered to his party ideology till he breathed his last. The Left party leaders fought to the cause of poor all through his life. The family members decision to donate the mortal remains to hospital is highly commendable, he said.
The Chief Minister further stated that the demise of the national leader left a void which cannot be filled in the crucial times of safeguarding the states interests and it is very sad that Sitaram is not among us to give a direction to the country in the critical times.
