TG Speaker urges Gadkari to covert three State highways into NH in Vikarabad

New Delhi, Sept.24 (NSS): Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar has urged the Union government to upgrade three key State roads from the Vikarabad Assembly constituency to National Highways, emphasising their importance for regional connectivity and development.

Prasad Kumar called on Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari at his official residence in New Delhi on Tuesday and submitted a list of proposals for the development of roads in Vikarabad constituency which he represents.

During the meeting, the Speaker also requested the sanction and release of funds for seven other roads under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund Scheme (CRIF) to improve road infrastructure within his constituency.

The meeting was also attended by Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamshi Krishna, and Chennur MLA Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy, along with leader Manik Reddy, who accompanied Speaker Prasad Kumar in presenting the requests to the Union Minister.
