Kunamneni asks govt to release white paper on illegal demolitions by Hydra

Hyderabad, Sept.24 (NSS):  CPI secretary Kuamneni Sambasiva Rao has made several suggestions to the Congress government in the case of the ongoing illegal demolitions by Hydra.

Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, he suggested that the government release a white paper in the name of the Hydra. “There are many poor people living in a city like Greater Hyderabad. The poor, the middle class and the rich should be identified before carrying out the demolitions.” The work that started for good is likely to lead to other issues tomorrow,” he said, adding that there  was a time when many poor people had built houses in many places in the city under the leadership of the CPI.

He also said the Congress government should look after such people and alleged  that  it was a fact that Nagarjunasagar canal had been damaged at two places due to the greed of Khammam district ministers. “When I was a minister, I supplied water to Khammam as well as our district. During our tenure, if the Sagar canal was breached, we completed it in seven days. Now for 20 days, there is no direction. Suryapet and Nalgonda districts have suffered the most due to GO No.  33 brought by the State government. The police State has just begun in the State. If questioned about their mistakes, illegal cases are being filed against those who posted on social media,” said Kuamneni Sambasiva Rao.
