
Amaravati, Sept.28 (NSS): Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today received petitions from the people at the TDP headquarters in Mangalagiri. The CM patiently listened to the sufferings of people from different walks of life, differently-abled, students and those who had come for help in large numbers from all over the State. Thanneeru Samrajyam, a differently-abled woman from Gorantla of Guntur town, explained her problems to Naidu. She claimed that she had been getting pension from the differently-abled quota for a long time and added that after the YSRCP government came to power, her pension was removed on the grounds that over 300 units of electricity had been consumed by her. She said she was finding it difficult to make a living and wanted her pension restored.
The Hindu community leaders of the Krishna Dharma Rakshana Samiti also met the CM. They demanded that a gaushala should be set up near Mangalagiri to curb the smuggling of unprotected cows between Guntur and Vijayawada national highway. Alluri Venkata Rao and Alluri Adinarayana from Thullur donated Rs 50,000 each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. M Shyamala Rao donated Rs 25,000, K Rajeshwari donated Rs 25,000 and K Harika from Vizianagaram donated Rs 15,000. CM Chandrababu praises them for their donations.
