Hyderabad, Sept.28 (NSS):BJP has decided to complete the target of membership registration within 15 days. National president of the party JP Nadda guided the party rank and file on how to achieve their target.
Nadda was the chief guest at the BJP’s membership drive program held in Begumpet Haritha Plaza hotel in the city. The party MPs, MLAs, MP, MLAs who contested took part in the meeting. He held a meeting with the party candidates as well as State office-bearers. The target is to register 50 lakh members in Telangana. In the Lok Sabha elections, 77 lakh votes came to the BJP and eight MP seats came from the State. Nadda said when 77 lakh votes earned by the party, 50 lakh membership target were not difficult to achieve for the party leaders.
It was suggested that all the communities should be brought together for the membership. He made it clear that only those who do so will get the posts in future. He directed the party leaders to fight on the public issues. Nadda is learnt to have enquired about the situation and the needs to strengthen the party in Telangana.
