Hyderabad, Oct.3 (NSS): GHMC Additional Commissioner Sneha Sabarish has directed the officials concerned to collect family details of residents of the city for issuance of family digital cards in a proper manner.
On Thursday, tax inspectors, tehsildars, AMCs, DPOs, COs and others were trained on details, formats and other aspects to be collected for the family digital cards at Panwar Hall in the GHMC headquarters.
Speaking on the occasion, Sneha Sabarish said two colonies had been selected in each assembly constituency under the GHMC limits under a pilot project for the issuance of the family digital cards from Thursday onwards and added that the details of the families in the respective pilot colonies should be collected from door-to-door. She said each team should survey at least 40 houses every day. “The updated details should be filled in the respective formats. The house-to-house survey should be completed within five days. Each constituency will have a nodal officer to oversee it,” he said.
She said during the survey, the details of those born and died in the respective families, new families, migration and those who have gone abroad permanently would have to be entered. “The survey should be completed by October 8, scrutiny will be held on October 9 and the report should be sent to the government on October 10,” she said.
She made it clear that there would be only one card for a family and added that in this project a family would be identified as a unit for the issuance of an ID card. She said the senior most woman in a family should be taken as the head of the family. “A family should register only in one place. The survey will continue in all other colonies after the pilot project,” she said.
Later, she cleared the doubts of several officials about the survey. POs, Tahsildars, AMCs, DPOs, Tax Inspectors, COs, POs and others participated in the training programme.
