Warangal, Oct.13 (NSS): In the undivided Warangal District Congress Party, sectarian differences have broken out. The flexi dispute between the supporters of state endowments Minister Konda Surekha and Parakala MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy has led to severe tensions. In Dharmaram, Revuri’s followers tore up the flexis of state Minister Konda Surekha by stating that there was no picture of their leader in the flexis. Angered at this, the supporters of Konda Surekha also tore up the flexis of, MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy.
This led to an argument between the supporters of the two leaders. The supporters of Konda Surekha staged a massive protest program condemning the act of the supporters of the MLA. They organized a Rastaroko at Dharmaram on the Warangal-Narsampet main road and raised slogans against MLA Prakash Reddy. They alleged that MLA Revuri was filling false cases against them and harassing them. The protest program led to a huge traffic jam in the area.
