Hyderabad, Oct.19 (NSS):BRS party working president KTR today came down heavily on Union minister Bandi Sanjay and asked him as to what he knew about the Group-1 exams except for paper leaks. He alleged that CM Revanth Reddy and MP Bandi Sanjay were playing dramas regarding the unemployed youth in the State.
“Our leaders, who went to support the Group-1 candidates, RS Praveen Kumar, Srinivas Goud and Dasoju Sravan, were arrested by the police. We strongly condemn these arrests. I want to ask Revanth Reddy, as to why have he arrested our party leaders? Why are you afraid to hold discussions? You are trying to silence our leaders by arresting them. You have sent your friend Bandi Sanjay there in a grand manner. You will send him there with CRPF forces, while you arrest our leaders and transfer them to police stations,” he said.
KTR urged that it was time to bring shame and wisdom to the Group-1 candidates and called for discussions to resolve the issue. He said Bandi Sanjay stated on behalf of the CM that Revanth Reddy’s government was collapsing. “He said the government needs to be saved for five years. Today, as part of this political drama, they are trying to silence the voices of Group-1 candidates by putting Bandi Sanjay forward. Does Bandi Sanjay even have the ability to take the exam? Has he even studied anything to call a few of the Group-1 candidates and listen to their arguments. If there is justice, immediately postpone the exams,” KTR demanded.
He made it clear that nothing can be done through Bandi Sanjay. “If he is told to leak papers, he will do it. But what does he know about Group-1,” the former minister asked. KTR suggested that the government should engage in discussions with the Group-1 candidates with discretion and wisdom.
