
Amaravati, Oct.20 (NSS): AP Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar today said as part of the Super Six guarantees, the scheme of free gas cylinders would be started from the upcoming Diwali festival.
The minister participated in the village festival organized at Sanganjagarlamudi of Tenali mandal of Guntur district and laid foundation stone for many development works. Speaking on the occasion, Manohar said no matter many financial difficulties, CM Chandrababu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan were firm of implementing the promises made by them before the assembly elections. He said there were 1.40 crore ration card holders in the State and added that every family would be provided with three gas cylinders per year free of cost. Manohar said it was estimated that this scheme would cost Rs 3000 crore per year. It has been revealed that approval for the scheme will be taken in the next cabinet meeting.
