Hyderabad, Oct.20 (NSS): Former minister & BRS leader Harish Rao today lambasted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for making personal comments against him over his decision to fight on behalf of the people. He claimed that he and former minister KTR were being threatened by the CM that they would be killed by bulldozers.
“We are not afraid of being killing by you. We are also not afraid of your false cases,” he said and warned that he was ready for any fight if injustice was done to the poor people of the State. He said he was ready to die for the people. He was speaking after participating in the Alai Balai programme, a family spiritual conclave of BRS party held in Manakondur assembly constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said the meeting reminded him of his days of 2001. “Former MLA Rasamayi Balakishan brought a lot of awareness among the people of the State during the separate Telangana movement through his Dhoomdham program. The days have come again to hold a similar program to launch another fight against the ruling Congress party, which has betrayed the farmers, people and all sections of the people. Revanth Reddy brought Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi and made promises. The Congress’ honeymoon period is over and the time has come for us to fight,” he said. He recalled that KCR gave saris during the Bathukamma festival and added that the former CM had also given KCR-kits, nutrition kits and fish in ponds. “After the KCR government was gone, everything was gone. The schemes have also gone,” he claimed.
He said KCR did not stop Rythu bandhu even during corona pandemic and adds that the salaries of ministers and MLAs had been stopped and farmers had been given Rythu bandhu by their government. He alleged that the farmers had been cheated badly by the Congress government. He called upon everyone to fight together against CM Revanth Reddy.
