
Hyderabad, Oct.22 (NSS): Mahesh Agarwal was honoured with Mahatma Gandhi Global Peace Award during Mahatma Gandhi Birth Centenary Closing Ceremony. The celebration was organized today at Telangana Saraswat Parishad Auditorium under the auspices of Telangana Citizens Council.
In the programme, Mahatma Gandhi Global Peace Award 2024 was given to selected social workers of the society.
Chief guest Dr Banda Prakash, Deputy Chairman of Telangana Legislative Council, awarded the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Global Peace Award to Mahesh Agarwal for the reforms done by him for the development of Gaushala and the revolutionary steps taken by him to reduce the suicides of farmers through intensive farming.
MLC Bograpu Dayanand, former AP High Court Justice Chandrakumar and Backward Classes Welfare Commission Chairman Niranjan spoke at the program which was presided over by president of the organization Rajnarayan.
