Hyderabad, Oct.29 (NSS) Former minister & Suryapet MLA Jagadish Reddy has reacted sharply to Union minister Bandi Sanjay’s statement that the BRS party would be made to disappear from the State by the BJP.
Addressing media persons at Telangana Bhavan here, he mocked that Bandi Sanjay’s antics were not resembling the acts of a Union minister but were seen as acts of CM Revanth Reddy. “Bandi Sanjay has forgotten that he is the Union Minister. He is showing the desire to save CM Revanth. He is only targeting KTR and the BRS party.
In fact, it is a contradiction between the BJP and the Congress. But, strangely in Telangana, the two parties are working together. “If there is a war going on between Modi and Rahul Gandhi at the Centre, why are you trying to save Revanth Reddy in the State,” Reddy asked. He alleged that false cases were filed against their party leaders for holding a party at Raj Pakala’s House and claimed that CM Revanth had failed in the issue.
He said it was not right for Bandi Sanjay to speak by stooping to the level of a Karimnagar corporator to save the CM. He said it was not possible for the BJP to see the end of the BRS party and asked Sanjay to think about his Central Government was being run with oxygen. He mocked Sanjay to think whether he belonged to the BJP or the Congress party. Reddy advised him not to speak petty words and get offended.
MLA Jagadish Reddy also responded to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s statement that the State government was in financial difficulties and the State’s revenue had come down. He alleged that the Congress ministers and leaders were filling their pockets by not doing development works. “That is why the ruling party leaders are not able to fulfil the promises made to the people,” Jagadish Reddy alleged. He also said they would fight on behalf of the BRS party till the promises made by the Congress government to the people were fulfilled.
