Hyderabad, Nov.4 (NSS): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar today questioned the State government as to what happened to the comprehensive family survey report conducted on a war-footing during the tenure of former CM KCR government. He recalled that the details of caste, religion, income and property were recorded in the comprehensive household survey. “No matter how many years it takes, caste will not change. Why this rush in the name of caste enumeration again? The Congress government should answer as to why the original comprehensive family survey report is not being made public,” he demanded.
Bandi Sanjay visited Varadavelli in Boinipalli mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district and performed puja at local deity Pochamma’s temple. Later, the boat services were launched along with the district collector. He personally rode the boat and visited the Dattatreya Swamy temple.
Speaking to the media later, he said the availability of boat services would be of great benefit to the people. He said everyone had the opportunity to pay obeisance to Lord Dattatreya and added that everyone had the opportunity to participate happily in the Dattatreya Swamy celebrations. He expressed concern that due to the negligence of the State government in the purchase of paddy, the farmers were facing a lot of difficulties by dumping paddy on the roads.
