Hyderabad, Nov.5 (NSS): BRS party chief KCR today recalled the services of Telangana poet and writer Dasarathi Krishnamacharya, who gave the famous slogan “Naa Telangana Koti Ratanala veena” (My Telangana is the Veena of one crore jewels) on the occasion of his death anniversary.
In a statement, KCR said the movement for the formation of Telangana State involved the fighting spirit of Dasarathy. He said recognizing Dasarathi’s efforts, the then BRS government had taken several initiatives to pass on his spirit to future generations.
