Hyderabad, Nov.6 (NSS): Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command called on Governor Jishnu Dev Verma at Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth highlighted the close coordination between the State administration and Indian Army ensuring preparedness to deal with any disaster and Internal Security situation.
The General Officer conveyed gratitude on behalf of the Ex-servicemen community for the increments in their benefits announced during the recent State Managing Committee meeting. He also discussed about various innovative schemes for the welfare of veterans, underscoring the Indian Army’s commitment to their well being.
On the occasion, Dhiraj Seth presented a memento to the Governor. The meeting reinforced the Indian Army’s dedication to national security, disaster response and veteran welfare, demonstrating its steadfast commitment to the nation.
