Hyderabad, Nov.7 (NSS): BJP MP DK Aruna has come down heavily on the Telangana government over its comprehensive door-to-door household survey.
Referring to the statement of the State government that the caste and population census will be done through the comprehensive house-to-house household survey, DK Aruna alleged that the questionnaire was against the caste census and added that questions like assets, liabilities, lands and which party were being asked.
“Why does the government need details of personal assets? What this survey is for should be clarified. The survey is meant to deceive the BC communities. The survey is meant to escape the promises made. Is it fair to name the houses given under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana after Indiramma,” she asked.
Aruna said if KCR looted the State in the name of Kaleswaram, CM Revanth Reddy was trying to loot it in the name of cleaning the Musi river. She also said the BJP was only against the loot of Rs 1.5 lakh crore. She asked the government to build a retaining wall around the Musi river before going through the drainage.
