Congress failed to keep any of its promises: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Nov.7 (NSS)Telangana State BJP president & Union Minister G Kishan Reddy today said if the people stopped the BRS party’s exploitative policy and gave the Congress party the reins of the State, it had not been able to keep any of the promises made even after a year of coming into power.

“In Congress-ruled States, there is no situation to pay salaries to employees.  These States are not even able to raise loans. Even in these States, Congress party came to power by making fraudulent promises to people,” he alleged while claiming that the situation of the people of Telangana is like falling from the stove to the pan.  He called upon all the BJP cadres to be ready for struggles and movements against the policies of the State government.

He was speaking at an event as part of the BJP’s organisational elections on Thursday. He said the BJP has the largest number of members in the world and added that the  BJP was the only party that conducts organisational elections from the village level once in every three years. “The BJP is a party that registers its membership once 10 years. In Telangana, 31 lakh members have been registered. The membership drive should continue till November 15. He called upon the party cadres for completing the targets within the stipulated time at the district, mandal and village levels.

Kishan Reddy criticized that the parties were being run on the basis of families in the country. “From Jammu and Kashmir to Tamil Nadu, the system of son, son-in-law and daughter is continuing. The BJP is totally against this policy and everyone should be proud of it,” he added.
He asked the party leaders and activists to stand by the people’s problem and added that the Rural, mandal and district committees need to be further strengthened.
