Telangana decides to constitute Yadagirigutta Temple Board on lines of TTD

Hyderabad, Nov.8 (NSS): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has informed that the State government has decided to constitute the’ Yadagirigutta Temple Board’ and the officials have been asked to take necessary measures to establish the Temple Board on the lines of TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams).

On the occasion of his birthday, the Chief Minister visited Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadagirigutta in Yadadri Bhongir district on Friday and offered special prayers to the presiding deity. He received Vedic blessings from the priests. Later, he held a review meeting with officials on the development of  Yadagirigutta temple – the abode of lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy,  Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha and Tummala Nageswara Rao, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, MLAs and MPs from the combined Nalgonda district and senior officials were present.

On the occasion, Revanth Reddy said the Yadagirigutta Temple Board should be established equal to the status of TTD after a complete study of the Tirumala Board and instructed the officials to introduce a special policy for cow protection in Goshala, leveraging  the technological innovations.

Reminded that the facility of sleeping of devotees on the hill of Holy Shrine was provided earlier, the Chief Minister ordered  the officials to take measures and make required arrangements for devotees to sleep on the hill and pay obeisance to the God .

Officials were also directed to speed up the works for the completion of gold plating for Vimana Gopuram and complete the works before Brahmotsavam.

The Chief Minister further instructed the officials to complete the pending land acquisition related to the development of the temple and ordered them to grant required funds for it.

“All pending works at the temple should be completed in a stipulated period. Officials should come with complete details in a week time for the development of temple. At the same time, a comprehensive report should be submitted on the pending works and other issues as early as possible,” Revanth Reddy said.

The Chief Minister also ordered the officials to rechristen Yadadri as Yadagirigutta in all official records and also inforce in daily usage.
