Hyderabad, Nov.11 (NSS): A three-day exhibition “HYPEX-2024” (Postage stamps, Coins, Paper Currency & Antiques) to be organized by the Hyderabad Philatelic & Hobbies Society (HPHS) at Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FTCCI), Redhills here from November 15 to 17.
Addressing media persons at NSS here today, HPHS secretary Sagi Srinivas Raju said they are celebrating the 62nd year of HYPEX-2024. The exhibition will be inaugurated by chief guest Suresh Kumar Singhal, president of FTCCI and Y. Prasad, Chief Postmaster, GPO, Hyderabad and likely to launch a Commemorative Souvenir Stamp of the society limited edition for collection propose.
Raju said their society was formed in 1962 as ‘The Indo American Philatelic Society’, later changed the name as “The Hyderabad Philatelic and Hobbies Society’ in 1974. The society was spreading the hobbies by conducting exhibitions, seminars and workshops in schools and other institutions. They are also holding a three-day postage stamps, coins, paper currency, antiques and so on. In the exhibition, national and International level dealers meet from November 15 to 17.
