Hyderabad, Nov.25 (NSS): In a scathing statement, Dr Sravan Dasoju has called out Revanth Reddy’s rejection of the Adani Group’s Rs 100-crore donation as a pretentious act aimed at creating a facade of integrity. While the Telangana government under Revanth Reddy rejected the donation, dubious deals worth over ₹12,000 crore with the Adani Group remain untouched, exposing glaring hypocrisy and raising serious doubts about his priorities and loyalties.
Dr Dasoju questioned whether Revanth Reddy is truly working under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi or acting to protect the vested interests of Adani. Citing Kenya’s bold decision to cancel all agreements and MOUs with the Adani Group, Dr Dasoju emphasized that if a less privileged nation can take such ethical steps, Telangana has no excuse for not doing the same. “Rejecting a mere ₹100-crore donation while safeguarding shady deals worth thousands of crores reeks of a selective and pretentious act meant to mislead the public,” he added.
Dr Sravan Dasoju has urged the people of Telangana and the leadership of the Congress party to recognize these hollow theatrics and demand accountability from Revanth Reddy for his contradictory actions that undermine Rahul Gandhi’s fight against crony capitalism.
