Hyderabad, Nov.29 (NSS): Turkey’s Ambassador to India, Firat Sunel, has expressed an interest in enhancing bilateral relations with Telangana (India).
Firat Sunel met Minister for IT and Industries Dudilla Sridhar Babu at the Secretariat here on Friday.
During their half-hour discussion, the two leaders explored opportunities for mutual cooperation. Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted the longstanding historical and cultural ties between Telangana and Turkey.
He emphasised that Telangana offers a favourable environment for investments in sectors such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, life sciences and commerce.
The Minister invited Turkey to send an industrial delegation to explore Telangana’s thriving ecosystem. Ambassador Firat Sunel responded positively, expressing willingness to facilitate such an initiative.
Turkey’s Consul General, Orhan Yaman Okan, also participated in the meeting, further reinforcing Turkey’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Telangana.
