
Hyderabad, Dec.3 (NSS): Passing out Parade of Agniveers Batch-04/24 was conducted at 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad on December 2, 2024 with full traditional military regalia. 592 Agniveers passed out post successful completion of 31 weeks of Basic and Advanced Military Training at 1 EME Centre.
The parade was reviewed by Brigadier Prashant Bajpai, Commandant, 1 EME Centre. The Commandant lauded the Agniveers for their hard work and successfully completing their military and technical training. He also exhorted them to dedicate themselves with utmost sincerity and devotion to uphold the safety, honour and integrity of the Nation.
Outstanding Agniveers were felicitated with medals by the Commandant for excelling in Physical fitness, Academics, Drill and Firing. AV Rustam Kumar Maurya was adjudged Best in Drill/Parade Commander and AV Abhishek Rawat was awarded Overall Best Agniveer. Agniveers of the Corps of EME have been trained to be technical specialists in Armoured Fighting Vehicles, Military Vehicles, Telecommunication equipment and Refrigeration equipment. Post passing out from 1 EME Centre the Agniveers will report to Field Army units.
The POP was witnessed by about 952 proud parents and relatives of Agniveers who came from all over India in addition to Instructors, Staff and trainees of 1 EME Centre.
