Hyderabad, Dec.7 (NSS): MLC Amer Ali Khan addressed a gathering at the Praja Palana Vijayotsavam event near Charminar, the historical and symbolic importance of the iconic monument. Drawing parallels between the structure’s four minarets and the harmony among Telangana’s diverse communities—Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians—he said Charminar embodies not just pride but also decency and unity. He expressed optimism, attributing renewed hope to the Congress government. Khan pointed to the government’s commitment to minority welfare, citing an allocation of ₹3,003 crore, which he described as a significant step towards inclusive development.
“The Congress has brought hope to the people,” Khan concluded, urging the public to work together for a brighter and more equitable future. The event was attended by Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Khairtabad MLC Danam Nagender, and other prominent leaders.
